GGBA is proud to partner with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in the first of a series of events around the nation designed to help build LGBT owned businesses! The event is part of an historic national initiative called the LGBT Business Builder.

Attendees will learn how to utilize NGLCC’s LGBT Business Enterprise certification to access the growing number of business opportunities that are opening up in California and around the nation specifically for LGBT owned firms as well as how to utilize all of the business building resources available through the SBA.

The workshop will prepare attendees to:

  • Grow their businesses with the NGLCC LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) certification,
  • Leverage the resources and information provided by the U.S. Small Business Administration into lucrative procurement contracts,
  • Take advantage of emerging procurement opportunities now open in California as a result of AB1678. Companies interested in working with LGBTBEs include California’s public utility companies, NFL Super Bowl 50, and over 1/3 of the Fortune 500!
